Our whole Summer has been dominated by the series of sermons entitled, “Whatever It Takes.” This series has focused on the second half of the book of Romans. Chapters 1-11 of Romans focuses on the Theology of Christianity (basically the “Why” of Christianity), and chapters 12-15 focus on the Application of Christianity (basically the “How” of Christianity).
At Hurt Road Baptist Church we have recently adopted a new vision, and the success of this vision lies in the application of the Gospel in our community. Jesus made it pretty plain that we will get it right if we love God, and love people. That’s our strategy. Come join us as we uncover the “How” of our faith.
And now as we near completion of this series, my prayer as Pastor is that we will apply what we have learned in a fresh way! May God be glorified in our lives!
