The prayer team is an integral part of Hurt Road Baptist Church. We are a part of the church’s core values–Worship, Word, Ministry, and Missions. During the Sunday Worship Service the prayer team is available to pray with individuals who have a prayer request or need encouragement through prayer. As the pastor preaches, one or more of our prayer team prays fervently for the pastor and for those in the congregation. Our desire is that the Holy Spirit will meet each person where they are and draw them into an intimate relationship with God. Once a month church members participate in prayer walking in the neighborhoods around our church. Once a quarter we lead the church in a Week of Prayer for the church staff, church, and community.
